Customizable courses for learning more than 140 languages (including Indigenous languages and extensive collections for ESL learners);
A wide range of activities to help learners practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in those languages;
Assessment tools to gauge proficiency against international standards; and,
A dedicated mobile app.

How to get started with Transparent Languages

Create an account.
Click on the "Sign Up" tab.
Enter your desired username and password (other parts of the form are optional).
Click on the checkbox if you agree to the terms of use.
Click the "Create Account" button.
Select a language and get started learning!

Mobile app note: Follow the instructions above to create an account FIRST, before using the mobile app.

Once you have created an account, you can easily use the Transparent Language Mobile app (for iOS or Android devices) to keep learning on the go! However, library patrons do need to follow the link above in order to initially create the account (you cannot use the "Get free access from your library" button in the app to do this).
